FastCGI Cache adalah sistem caching data yang diimplementasikan di tingkat server HTTP Nginx .
Keuntungan dari FastCGI Cache adalah Nginx akan mengembalikan respons yang di-cache kepada pengguna segera setelah menerima permintaan, sementara lapisan aplikasi tidak akan memproses permintaan HTTP yang masuk sama sekali jika itu ada di cache Nginx.
Menggunakan FastCGI Cache adalah cara terbaik untuk mengurangi beban pada sistem Anda.
Jika situs Anda memiliki halaman yang jarang berubah atau penundaan dalam memperbarui informasi untuk beberapa saat tidak penting, maka FastCGI Cache adalah yang Anda butuhkan.
Cara kerja Nginx FastCGI Cache
Jika permintaan HTTP tiba di server Nginx dan beberapa waktu yang lalu respon untuk permintaan yang sama ditempatkan di cache, maka Nginx tidak akan mengirimkan permintaan ini untuk mengeksekusi PHP-FPM, sebagai gantinya Nginx akan mengembalikan hasilnya dari cache.
